Street Sign Dedicated To Baltimore Officer Killed In Crash
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- A city police officer who died in a crash back in January is honored in East Baltimore today.
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake renamed the 2200 block of Kirk Avenue--the site of the crash--after Officer Craig Chandler.
The 27-year-old was a six-year veteran of the police force.
Chandler died on January 9th from injuries he suffered in a November 2014 on-duty car crash.
He is survived by his wife, a 9-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son.
