Cancer-Free Governor Hogan Debates Whether To Keep His Bald Look

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- To shave, or not to shave?

Derek Valcourt reports on the lighthearted issue that Governor Hogan is dealing with after being diagnosed cancer-free.

When Hogan first announced his cancer diagnosis, he knew it was coming.

"Most likely I'm going to lose my hair," he said, also noting that he would miss having his "beautiful, gray locks."

But after going through chemotherapy and getting used to it, he joked about there being "another white dome in the Annapolis State House."

He compared himself to TV's Kojak and musician Pitbull. He also asked his Facebook followers to vote on whether he should let his hair grow back or show off his shine.

A lot of his followers have been complimenting his new look, and he's been getting support from both sides.

"I think the first lady's going to make the final decision," he said.

Governor Hogan concluded by saying he was just grateful that he was healthy enough to face this kind of decision.
