Mike Preston Grades The Ravens 35-6 Loss To The Seahawks

Mike Preston covers the Ravens and writes a column for the Baltimore Sun Sports section.

Mike joins the MMQB crew every Monday and gives out his grades for the Ravens game the day before.

Mike started off by grading Jimmy Clausen giving him a C+ saying "he made a couple of back-shoulder throws to give his receivers chances to make plays and his ability to roll out added a dimension to the passing game." The running backs drew the ire of Mike getting a grade of F with Mike saying "there were no holes and there was no running game." Mike finished up by giving the receivers a grade of C and the offensive line a grade of D.

On the defensive side of the ball Mike started by giving the defensive line a grade of D saying "the Ravens seemed to settle down a little once running back Thomas Rawls left the game with an injury early in the first quarter." Mike gave the linebackers a grade of D and teed off on the secondary with a grade of F. As for that secondary Mike said "the defensive backs can't tackle in the open field and they can't cover crossing routes. Sorry, they can't cover anything."

Finally Mike gave the special teams a grade of C+ and the coaching staff a grade of C+ saying "despite being heavy underdogs, coach John Harbaugh had the Ravens in the game until midway through the third quarter."
