Police: Man Killed, Teen Girl Injured When ATV, SUV Crash

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a man was killed and a teenage girl was critically injured when an all-terrain vehicle and an SUV collided in Prince George's County.

County police spokesman Officer Harry Bond says the crash occurred Sunday evening at Walker Mill Road and Waterford Drive in the Capitol Heights area.

Bond says preliminary information indicates that the SUV was trying to turn left onto Waterford when the crash occurred, throwing the man and girl from the ATV. They were taken to a hospital, where police say the man died.
