Balt. Co. Restaurant Week Showcases 58 Restaurants For 16 Days
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—Foodies get ready, Restaurant Week is starting in Baltimore County!
Ron Matz has more on the excitement.
There's nothing like a great meal for a bargain price. The kick off in Timonium brings out a big crowd to schmooze and sample.
"We're so happy to be back with Baltimore County Winter Restaurant Week, said Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz. "Once again we're offering a range of meals at a variety of restaurants for prices between $15 and $35 dollars."
Baltimore County Restaurant Week actually lasts 16 days with 58 restaurants including Pappas located in Cockeysville participating.
"It's a win for the restaurateur because we get to bring in lots of new patrons who might not otherwise come through our door and build new relationships with them and hopefully get repeat business," said Justin Windle, managing partner at Pappas.
Those restaurants mean big business, employing roughly 26,000 and bring in approximately $1.5 billion a year.
"What restaurants have done here in Baltimore County is absolutely amazing and luckily we've seen an uptick in the number of people going out and we're lucky to have such amazing restaurants in the county," said Keith Scott, President of the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce.
