Carson Campaign Volunteer Dies Following Car Crash In Iowa
ATLANTIC, Iowa (WJZ) -- Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson temporarily suspends his campaign Tuesday after a campaign volunteer is fatally injured in a car accident.
The Carson campaign confirms 25-year-old Braden Joplin died following an accident on slick roads near Atlantic, Iowa.

Three other passengers in the van were treated and released from the hospital.
Joplin was brought to Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition. He died just after 4:30 p.m.

Carson plans to meet with Joplin's family once he arrives in Omaha later Tuesday evening.
