Catholics Excused From Sunday Mass Due To Weather

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Archbishop William E. Lori is excusing Catholics from attending Sunday mass due to unsafe driving conditions that may occur after the storm.

Catholics who cannot safely attend mass can listen to a live broadcasts from several area churches:

Listen to mass from St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Baltimore on WCBM-680 AM at 9:30 a.m. Sunday and 6:30 p.m.

Church of the Nativity in Timonium will be streaming its weekend Masses (5pm on Saturday and 9am, 10:30am, 12 noon, and 5:30pm on Sunday) at churchnativity.tv.

The Eternal Word Television Network also broadcasts the Mass at various times each day. Check www.ewtn.com for listings.

Catholics who are planning to attend Mass should check their parish schedules before heading out.
