AAA: Md. Drivers Paying $1.86 Per Gallon
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Motorists in Maryland are paying 2 cents less at the pump when compared with a week ago.
AAA Mid-Atlantic said Friday in a report that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Maryland was $1.86, down from $1.88 a week ago.
The price of gas in the state 5 cents above the national average of $1.81.
The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in cities around the state includes $1.84 in Baltimore, $1.86 in Cumberland, $1.96 in Hagerstown and $1.70 in Salisbury.
Motorists in the state are paying 24 cents less per gallon than at this time last year when the average price of a gallon of regular gas was $2.10 per gallon.
