WEATHER BLOG: Mild Temps On The Way

A high pressure system moving off of the Southeast coast will control our weather through the remainder of the weekend.  The high will promote southerly winds and increasingly mild weather. The warmer air should result in areas of fog later Sunday night into Monday AM as more moisture moves into the lower-levels of the atmosphere. On Sunday, a low pressure system will track through the Great Lakes. The low will continue toward Atlantic Canada on Monday and allow a weak cold front to move through the area Monday PM. This will result in an increase in clouds coverage, as well as the possibility for a few showers Monday afternoon and early Monday night. Temps stay mild for much of next week and that should help immensely with melting!
