Little Snow Expected From Early Week System

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A little bit of accumulating snow is expected from Monday-Wednesday.

Maryland is expected to get between one and two inches Monday into Tuesday. We will see flurries but likely no additional snow accumulation on Wednesday.

"Acculumation will be very light," said Meteorologist Tim Williams. "This is not going to be another blizzard."

The snow will begin Monday evening and will continue on and off through Tuesday's rush hour. This is not expected to be an all-night event, but since there will be snow during rush hour Tuesday, drivers should allow themselves extra time to get to work.

Flurries will be possible throughout the rest of Tuesday and into Wednesday.

Thursday will be colder but sunny.
