Crews Recover Bodies Of Missing Hunters

SEVERN, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland Natural Resources Police report they have recovered the bodies of two hunters who went missing on the Severn River last month.

The duck hunters went missing during hostile water conditions on Jan. 19.

A search continued for several days but was suspended due to the impending blizzard.

A witness saw 23-year-old Earling Stephen Lamp of Stevensville and Matthew David of Glen Burnie go overboard and heard them screaming.  The witness called 911.

Officers and the Charles County Dive Rescue crew recovered the bodies Wednesday.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up for Lamp's family.
