Fellow Officers Pay Their Respects To Fallen Sheriff's Deputies
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Moments after Wednesday's shooting, one of the deputies was taken to a local hospital and the other was flown to Shock Trauma. Both were later pronounced dead.

Officers standing outside Shock Trauma--the first sign of public mourning for two fallen heroes from Harford County.
The wait outside Shock Trauma ended tragically, as confirmation came that the two deputies shot in the line of duty had died.
For Harford County's sheriff, there was grief and gratitude.
"The outpouring of support from fellow our law enforcement--both support emotionally and support investigatively--it's just unmatched," said Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler, Harford County.

Outside Shock Trauma, as law enforcement comforts each other, their thoughts are also with the loved ones left behind.
"We're going to do everything we can to support the families of these fallen heroes," Sheriff Gahler said.
The names of the two deputies have not been released. Their family members still have to be notified.
Combined, both deputies had more than 46 years of experience.
