Teen Arrested In Shooting Outside White Marsh Restaurant
PERRY HALL, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County police have charged a teenager with the shooting outside of a Red Robin near White Marsh mall early Sunday.
Sixteen-year-old Tayquan Rashawn King, of the unit block of Meteor Court in Parkville, was charged as an adult with attempted first-degree murder and related offenses.
King is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
The shooting occurred just after midnight in a parking lot in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Boulevard. The victim was found with a gunshot wound in his lower body. He was taken to a hospital and he's expected to survive.
During their investigation, police learned the victim came to Red Robin to pick up a friend who was an employee there. The friend told a loud group of people to leave the restaurant and they told him they were going to wait outside for him.
The victim's friend became involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect and the suspect fire several shots.
Police continue to investigate the shooting.
