WEATHER BLOG: Getting Colder

Hi Everyone,

Gonna be getting cold, it's Winter, and it happens. I, personally, am not going to get to upset about this. WHY? Ok, check it out. I just got an E Mail form Pier Six announcing the "Bare Necked Ladies" on June 26th. (Tix go on sale tomorrow.) The bulk of Winter is behind us,  and it's already time to anticipate warmer weather.

I was in target the other day and the bright colors of warm weather sportswear are already out, as are the displays aimed to get your attention and sell them. The Daytona 500 is a week from Sunday. Six Mondays from now it will be Spring..yada yada, etc…The point is made.  A scenario of 30 days in the freezer, the Polar Vortex, yada yada, etc…just not a big player now.

Our next shot of Winter weather wants to come in on us  early next week. BUT location is on our side, and warm air will stifle a Monday night wintery mix, and turn it to rain on Tuesday. (Hope for a quick change over Tues AM.)
