Winter Weather Advisory, Wind Chill Watch Issued For Parts Of Maryland

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of Maryland for Friday evening.

The advisory was issued for 6 p.m. Friday through midnight.

There is also a wind chill watch in effect from Friday night through Sunday morning.

The advisory was issued in Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore, Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Charles, Montgomery, Howard, Harford counties and the district.

According to the National Weather Service, snow is expected Friday evening between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Accumulations could be coating to an inch.

In parts of western Maryland, more snow is expected.

Those areas are likely to get anywhere from three to 5 inches starting Friday afternoon. Visibility will be low with snow intensifying overnight.

People should use caution while driving.
