1 Dead After Single-Vehicle Crash On Liberty Road

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County police are investigating a fatal crash on Liberty Road.

According to police, a blue Toyota Avalon was driving east on Liberty Road when it crossed the center turn lane into the westbound lane and jumped the curb. The Avalon then hit a sign, a tree and a support pole, then went up an embankment before finally stopping.

The driver was identified as 50-year-old Emerson Benjamin Bailey. Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene.
