Jeff Passan Of Yahoo Sports On The Orioles Missing Out On Dexter Fowler

Jeff joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Orioles missing out on outfielder Dexter Fowler and who they should target now.
Jeff started off by talking about talking with Adam Jones about not having Dexter Fowler next to him this season Jeff said "he was honestly very smiling and gracious and said if Dexter Fowler is happy and his family is happy than I as his friend am happy for him." When asked what was the general feeling among the players about losing out on Fowler Jeff said "this happened again, this type of thing happens all the time and why does it always happen to us?"
As for the Orioles reputation around the league for negotiations Jeff said "the reputation goes back all the way to Aaron Sele in 2000...the one common thread is not Dan Duquette or Buck Showalter, it's Peter Angelos" Jeff did talk about the Orioles record with finding things in physicals saying "they've pretty much been right on all of them...I think more teams frankly should do that...I wrote a whole book about the amount of arm injuries out there."
Jeff also went on to talk about who the Orioles should go after now that they've missed out on Dexter Fowler.
