FBI Search For Clues, Offer $15K Reward In Federal Hill Armed Robbery

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—The FBI is asking for the public's help in trying to solve a two-year-old armed robbery at one of the city's popular bars.

Gigi Barnett has more.

Just before 7:00 a.m. on February 2, 2014, four armed men broke into Mother's Federal Hill Grill on South Charles Street.

They got into the restaurant held workers at gunpoint and robbed them.

"It was devastating," said Kelly Rather, Mother's co-owner."It was the worst day we have ever had here."

For two years now, FBI agents have been scouring the surveillance video finding clues that could lead to the identity of the robbers.

But now they're stumped.

"We believe that someone in the community knows who's who these men are," said Steve Skinner, with the FBI Violent Crimes Taskforce.

The FBI is now offering up to $15,000 for information leading to an arrest in the 2014 armed robbery.

"Someone's going to do the right thing here," Skinner said.

At the restaurant, workers say until the men are off the streets they're still on edge.

"I hope that there is somebody out there that is a good citizen who just recognizes something or someone," said Rather.

The FBI is teaming up with Baltimore Police to solve the crime. Agents say the men are armed and dangerous.

Agents say if you know anything about this crime call the FBI at 410-265-8080.
