Steve Davis: Thoughts On Terrell Suggs' Arrest
I've seen some reactions from people saying the Ravens should cut Suggs for being arrested, that they don't need that kind of a problem. Come on, people, get a grip. This isn't something that requires any harsh discipline. It seems to me like he was careless and irresponsible, maybe immature, something along those lines. If he knew his license was suspended, which he admitted to on the arrest video, then he should have taken care of it.
I read that he pled guilty to driving with a suspended license in 2012, so he should have learned his lesson already. If I was the Ravens, I'd be disappointed and annoyed, and maybe ticked off. However, I'm not cutting him or even fining him. I think I would tell him to grow up because he just embarrasses himself and the organization when something like this happens.
However, this is hardly a capital offense.
