Maryland SPCA Rescues Stray Dog Luca, Finds Furever Home
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Maryland SPCA is trying to help a stray dog find a new home.
Luca Royal was a stray living in a Baltimore neighborhood for almost two months.
He escaped many attempts at capture by residents and finally one neighbor hired a professional to set a humane trap to catch him.
This time it worked and they brought Luca to the SPCA.
He was terribly matted when he arrived and the SPCA veterinarian team removed the painful and dirty mats -- and he got a good bath. When it was all done, he turned around and kissed the vet tech!
He's a brand new dog looking for his furever home.
And he got just that.
Late Friday afternoon the Maryland SPCA said LucLucaa was adopted.
