Orioles Manager Buck Showalter Joined Orioles Hot Stove
Orioles manager Buck Showalter joined the Hot Stove Show to give his thoughts on the Orioles as spring training winds down.
Roch Kubatko started off by asking the Orioles skipper about the progress of Pedro Alvarez. Showalter answered, "I want him to play some first base and some third base so he can stay in the flow defensively." Buck was then asked about bringing Rule 5 pick Joey Rickard off then bench late in the game. "At no point has this kid backed off," said Showalter. "We've gotten lucky with this one."
