Pat Kennedy On Villanova Winning The National Championship With A Buzzer Beater

Pat Kennedy is a college basketball coach who has spent time at Towson, Iona, Florida State, Depaul, Pace, and Montana.

Pat joined Ed and Steve to talk about Villanova beating North Carolina in the National Championship last night.

Pat started off by talking about what setup the final play that allowed Kris Jenkins to hit a buzzer beater to win the Championship saying "if you take a look at the replay from over head Carolina was lined up in the paint and gave Villanova nowhere to go." As for how Carolina defended the final play Pat said "you can't blame Carolina, they did what they have to do."

Pat also talked about the Naismith Hall Of Fame class in 2016 and should Lefty Driesell be in saying "sometimes you look at the guys who have been left out and the guys who have made it...how could a Lefty Driesell not be in there." As for the process of getting to the Hall of Fame and what it takes Pat said "there are a lot of those question marks, it has become very political I think Nike has a lot to do with that campaign."
