John Kasich to Campaign in Howard County This Week

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- When he visits Howard County on Wednesday, Ohio Gov. John Kasich will become the first Republican in this year's presidential race to campaign in Maryland during primary season, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Kasich is hosting a town hall in The Great Room At Historic Savage Mill from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Doors for the event will open at 2:30 p.m.

Maryland's primary is just about two weeks away, on April 26.

Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania also have primaries that day.

A recent Washington Post poll puts Kasich in second place behind Trump in Maryland.
