Keith Cavanaugh Of The Terrapin Times Reviews The Maryland Football Spring Game

Keith Cavanaugh is the publisher of the Terrapin Times a magazine dedicated to University of Maryland Athletics.

Keith joined Ed and Steve to review the performance of the football program in the annual Red and White game which took place on Saturday.

Keith started off by talking about Perry Hills and whether or not he has become the guy at QB for the Terps saying "he's their best thrower and he worked with Gus Frerotte in the off-season to shorten up his throwing motion...he'll be their best bet to run Walt Bell's offense." As for what he likes best about this team and what he saw at the Red and White game Keith said "I really like the run game, after years and years of misses they have some real talent on the offensive line, and they have more depth at running back."

As for guys who impressed in the spring game who may be guys to watch next year Keith said "Ty Johnson played as a true freshman last year, he has the quickness and burst to go with power guys like Wes Brown and Trey Edmunds." When talking about wide receiver and guys to watch Keith said "Levern Jacobs had a big day and he'll be a future Pro...overall DJ Moore had the best performance the sophomore wide receiver."

Keith also talked about some recruits the basketball program could be looking at to fill the roles left by players leaving early for the NBA.
