Police Arrest Suspect Wanted In Laurel Hotel Stabbing
LAUREL, Md. (WJZ) -- Investigators have arrested a suspect sought in the nearly fatal attack on a 25-year-old woman found stabbed at a Laurel hotel last week, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Dave Adams Benissan-C, 25, was taken into custody on a warrant Monday.
He's charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, all felonies, and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, both misdemeanors, according to online court records.
Police identified him Sunday as their suspect in the April 13 stabbing at the Red Crown Inn, located in the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road.
The victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she has since been upgraded to stable condition.
