Weather Roller-Coaster Continues This Week

We got some much needed rain over the pst 24 hours, but not very much in most places. As that system moved away, a flow of dry and cooler air from the north has set in allowing for some clearing during the afternoon. That flow will continue into the overnight hours allowing for clear skies and a cooler night. Most areas will drop into the 40s, but some of the colder areas could even drop into the upper 30s. A ridge of high pressure will cross the area tomorrow and make for a sunny day with a pleasant afternoon. Southwest flow kicks in on Monday and that will boost temps back to summerlike levels. A cold front approaches from the northwest on Tuesday, this will bring some showers and perhaps a t-storm to the area.
