Dirt Bike Not Equipped For Road Collides With Vehicle; 1 Injured

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—A man was injured after the dirt bike he was riding collided with a vehicle on Saturday night.

It happened just before 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Scaggsville Road and Harding Road in Laurel.

Police say a 25-year-old dirt biker was traveling eastbound on Scaggsville Road when he was struck by a Honda Odyssey.

According to police, the dirt bike rider was unlicensed, not wearing a helmet and was riding without a headlight at the time of the accident.

The man was the only one injured in the crash.

No charges have been filed at this time.

Police are continuing their investigation.
