Frederick Woman Arrested After Being Caught With Loaded Gun at BWI
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Frederick woman was arrested at Baltimore Washington International-Thurgood Marshall Airport Saturday afternoon after Transportation Security Administration officers say they caught her trying to carry a loaded gun past a security checkpoint.
TSA officers say they found a loaded 9 mm handgun among the woman's carry-on items.
Officers contacted the Maryland Transportation Authority Police who confiscated the firearm and arrested the woman.
There was no impact to airport operations.
