WEATHER BLOG: Dry Monday; Wet Week

The steadiest rain has moved away, but temperatures are stuck in the lower 50s thanks to the marine influence with a southeast flow. An upper level disturbance will approach the area tonight, bringing us some off and on rain/drizzle and possibly even a rumble of thunder. Some drying out will occur Monday afternoon as temperatures surge into the 70s, making it the warmest day of the next five. More rain will arrive Monday night and lift northeast on Tuesday. The pattern will remain unsettled through the end of the week.
