Son Beats Father to Death With Baseball Bat

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—A Lanham man is arrested for beating his father to death with a baseball bat over the weekend.

It happened on Saturday around 8:30 p.m. in the 8000 block of Greenfield Drive.

Police say  42-year-old Montey Anthony attacked his 64-year-old father Kenneth William, with a baseball bat, which ultimately led to his death.

Anthony admitted to his involvement in the killing.

He is facing charges of first and second degree murder and assault.

Authorities have not indicated what led to the attack.
