Mike Preston Talks Thoughts On Monroe, Youth Football & More

Mike Preston joined Norris and Davis to talk rookie camp for the Ravens, changes on the field for youth football and even what Eugene Monroe's stance on marijuana could mean for the team.

Preston and the guys began the conversation talking about Eugene Monroe's new endeavor to promote marijuana in the NFL. Preston said, "I wish Eugene would make a statement on the field for the Ravens, instead of on his website. I'm not buying what he's throwing out."

Norris and Davis recently covered a story about eliminating the kickoff from certain levels of youth play. Is the kickoff that dangerous or is it a silly discussion?

"The younger kids don't even know where they're going half the time. I've coached kids seven and eight, and I don't believe they should be in gear at all. Just get out there and play flag football. But to eliminate kickoff...you're supposed to be teaching them the game. I think they're overreacting too much," said Preston.
