WATCH: Drone Footage Shows Nyquist Practicing For Preakness

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Before Nyquist can make a run at the Triple Crown, he'll need a win at Preakness in Baltimore next weekend. And like they say, practice makes perfect.

Drone footage shows the Kentucky Derby winner jogging Saturday morning at Pimlico Race Course.

Nyquist's 1 1/4-length Derby win was nearly two seconds faster than last year's winner, American Pharoah, ran. American Pharoah went on to become the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years.

Here's hoping Nyquist follows in his footsteps!

The Preakness is next Saturday, May 21, at Pimlico right here in Baltimore.
