Former Raven Ed Reed Shares His Goals For His Future

Former Ravens great and the current Buffalo Bills assistant coach, Ed Reed, joined Vinny and Rob to talk about his career and what the future might hold for him.

Reed was a stalwart in the back end of the Ravens defense for years, but this past off season he was hired to be the assistant defensive back's coach by the Buffalo Bills. When Reed was asked about how it felt to switch organizations after being with the Ravens for so many years, he said, "It's weird, because I wasn't a player who wanted to switch organizations. I always saw myself with one organization, but as the years went on, I found out how this business works. Not finishing my career there kind of stings a little bit, but there's a nature of where we're at, it's another chapter."

Reed was asked about the possibility of being an assistant coach or head coach in his future, but Reed had other plans in mind, opening up some speculation about where he could end up in the future. "I don't know. After this year's election I might turn my focus to being a president or something," he joked.

Baltimore still loves Ed Reed, as he was one of the best defensive players in Ravens history. He helped out in the community, gave 100% effort on every down, and was a key part of bringing the Ravens 2nd Super Bowl to Baltimore.

Listen to the rest of the podcast below to hear about what Reed is doing to help out in the community and what he's doing to spread the word about healthy nutrition, as well as more football talk, of course!
