Bob Neumeier On Preakness Stakes, NFL Rivalries & Baseball

Bob Neumeier, one of the experts on NBC Sports and will be on air during the Preakness Stakes tomorrow, joined the Norris and Davis show to preview the race this weekend and cover a few more sports topics.

Although Neumeier was on to talk about the Preakness, he actually began the interview talking about the Ravens, the Super Bowl and the Patriots sharing his predictions and recaps from last season.

He was getting all the listeners riled up and ready to text in as he berated the Baltimore Ravens.

So, Davis asked, "Do you think the Patriots cheated by chance?" Neumeier emphatically said, "Sure they did. Of course they did. We know that. Listen, they filmed practice illegally, they were chastised by the league and they did it anyway. They do a lot of things that are 'shaky' shall we say...but the Patriots could beat anybody on Earth with a ball that could weigh ten pounds or one hundred pounds and they would still win that game by three or four touchdowns."

Finally getting to the Preakness, Neumeier said, "Nyquist is 8-for-8, I don't care if it's sunny, if it's raining, if he's running on broken glass, on stones...who is going to pick against him?!" Overall, with everyone betting on the same horse, there isn't a huge chance for making money during this race.

"Does Nyquist have the bloodlines to also win the Belmont?" asked Davis. "Absolutely, positively, yes yes and yes."
