2 Students Hit By Car In High School Parking Lot

BERLIN, Md. (AP) — Authorities say two students were flown to a Baltimore hospital after they were hit by a car in the parking lot of an Eastern Shore high school.

Media outlets report that Worcester County Sheriff's Lt. Ed Schreier said a student backed a car into the students — a male and a female — in the parking lot at Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin on Monday morning.

Schreier says both students were flown to the University of Maryland Medical Center Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He says one student is being treated for life-threatening injuries and the other student's injuries are considered serious, but not life-threatening.
