Orioles Need Gallardo Healthy To Replace Jimenez
Just one week ago, the Baltimore Orioles had the best record and the highest winning percentage, but now they've lost 6 of 8 and have dropped to second place.
The biggest question for the team is Ubaldo Jimenez. Norris and Davis chat with Brittany Ghiroli about the pitching and what's going on with the team moving forward.
Jimenez is a wild card. Norris and Davis asked Ghiroli "What do you do with him?"
Ghiroli agreed but says, "This issue is, right now, you don't really have a better solution. Until Yovani Gallardo comes back and really forces you to decide, right now, he's getting that start and it's not a pressing issue because they don't have a better option. Gallardo is making a rehab start on Thursday, and he's probably going to make two or three."
So what happens to Jimenez? Ghiroli said, "He's either on the disabled list or in the bull pen. I think they're just biding their time here."
