Mike Preston Says Ravens Have 'A Chip On Their Shoulder'

The Ravens are off this week but Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun is sharing some insights after watching the Ravens the past few weeks. "They have made some improvements, but not great improvements." Preston believes the key for this team's success will be how the players will recover from their injuries last season.

There are just a lot of question marks for the team as old players return and new players adjust. "I think the Ravens are an average team and they might be a little bit better than that by the end of the year. You've got to remember 5-11, they better come out with a chip on their shoulder and I think they will. You've already seen that with John Harbaugh and the way he's coaching this year," said Preston.

Mike Preston seems to have high hopes for the Ravens, but not so much for the Pro Bowl's future as it moves from Hawaii to Florida saying, "I give it two years and it's done."

Norris and Davis love talking Ravens with Mike Preston, but when the story about Ray Lewis was released, they of course had to get his opinion on it.

After a good laugh Preston said, "I listened to some of it last night, and I couldn't get through it all. I had to stop...because you can only take so much Ray." Ray Lewis is known for his inspirational quotes and motivational messages but the embellishment to some of the stories that he tells is what Preston has a problem with.
