BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A state police officer came to the rescue of a young fawn sitting under a parked car in southern Harford County.

After learning that the fawn was injured and  had been abandoned by it's mother, the officer alerted Maryland Natural Resources Police.

With the help of volunteer based Susquehannock Wildlife Society, they were able to gently remove the fawn from under the car and transport it to Chadwell Animal Hospital
