Mike Preston On Terrell Suggs: 'I Wonder If He's Ready To Play At All'

Norris and Davis had Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun on the show to talk about Suggs' disappearing act and what issues the Ravens are facing with the veteran players coming back from injures.

The core players of the Baltimore Ravens, like Joe Flacco and Steve Smith Sr. for example, are working their way back from injures and have been keeping the media updated, all except one. Terrell Suggs hasn't spoken to reporters since September 9 of last year, that's a span of 281 days.

"To me that's a sign," said Preston about the amount of silence from the linebacker. "I heard he's been there and showing up and getting his rehab done...but you know you're not in shape. I don't think he wants to be seen. The giveaway was he didn't speak at all. When does Terrell Suggs not speak? When does Terrell Suggs even shut up?" said Preston. Preston questions this type of attitude and if he's ready to play at all after having this type of injury twice in recent years.

However, here's what Terrell Suggs had to say yesterday:

Terrell Suggs recently said, "I hope everyone can respect that I am 100 percent focused on rehabbing and preparing to be the best player I can be at the start of the season." Baltimore is obligated to stick with Suggs through the 2017 season after his contract extension in 2014.

Hear more from Mike Preston about his thoughts on the Ravens' lack of impact players and if they'll be able to handle the players coming back from injury:
