State Police: Man Found Dead In SUV On I-95 In Halethorpe

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- The death of a man whose body was found inside an SUV on Interstate 95 in Baltimore County early Monday morning is under investigation, authorities confirmed.

Troopers patrolling southbound I-95 about 3 a.m. spotted a visibly damaged SUV on the shoulder about three quarters of a mile before Route 195 in Halethorpe, according to the Maryland State Police.

Inside the vehicle, troopers found a man slumped over in the driver's seat. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have not yet identified the man, whose cause and manner of death will be determined by an autopsy.
