BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Amy Schumer announced plans for an upcoming world tour Thursday, and one of the places she will hit this fall is Baltimore.

The show is slated for Saturday, November 12 at the Royal Farms Arena.

Schumer, a Towson University grad, gave the big announcement during her sold-out show at Madison Square Garden. Schumer will be travelling worldwide, appearing at more than 50 venues with her comedy.

Tickets go on sale June 28 at 10 a.m. Presale orders will begin June 24 at 10 a.m.

Schumer has been a recent hit among comedy lovers, becoming the first female stand-up comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden.

Along with being a witty comedian and hot topic in pop culture, Schumer is also an actress, writer, producer, and director.

She stars on "Inside Amy Schumer", an award-winning show on Comedy Central of which she is creator, writer, and executive producer. Among other awards and nominations received for the show, Schumer received the first-ever Emmy Award for "Outstanding Sketch Variety Series". The show was also honored with the Peabody Award in 2014.

Schumer continuously proves her dedication to her work, as she successfully powers through multiple projects at once.

Her 2015 Universal Pictures film "Trainwreck" was a huge box office success internationally. The movie was nominated for two Golden Globe awards. Schumer walked away from the film with a Critic's Choice award for "Best Actress in a Comedy".

Schumer recently finished her work in independent film "Thank You for Your Service," directed by Jason Hall. She is now filming a yet-unnamed mother-daughter adventure comedy directed by Jonathan Levine.

In addition to working on comedies, Schumer wrote a book that will soon hit the shelves.

"The Girl with The Lower Back Tattoo" is scheduled for release on August 16.
