Here's How To Celebrate 'Take Your Dog To Work Day'
BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Today is Take Your Dog To Work Day!
That means it's your chance to take your furry friend to work (if your employer allows it), so don't forget your favorite canine coworker before heading out the door. It's also a great opportunity encourage your friends to adopt shelter dogs and give them forever homes.
The fun doesn't have to stop there either. You can wrap up your week with a pup-friendly happy hour at the Maryland SPCA's Wine & Wag party. It runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the SCPA, located at 3300 Falls Road. The festivities include live music, a photo booth, bobbing for hot dogs, paw painting, and plenty of beverages and snacks.
If you want to take part, here's what you need to know:
- Admission to the event is $10 (and $15 at the door);
- Donations of $3 are suggested for beer and wine ($1 for other beverages);
- If your pup has a retractable leash, it needs to be completely retracted (Baltimore City law requires that dogs be leashed at all times)
