6 Hurt, Including Md. State Trooper In I-270 Crash
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—Six people were injured, including a Maryland state trooper following a three-car crash on Saturday.
It happened on NB I-270 between Rt. 28 and Shady Grove Road, in Montgomery County.
Pete Piringer, Chief Spokesperson for the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services says a Maryland State Trooper was struck by another vehicle while on the shoulder on the road.
Six people were transported for non-life threatening injuries.
Piringer said the crash involved three vehicles.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
