Police: Man, 53, Fatally Struck by Vehicle in East Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- The death of a 53-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle in East Baltimore early Monday morning is under investigation, according to police.

The unidentified victim was in the 4000 block of East Monument Street about 5:42 a.m. when he was struck, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, the driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of being impaired at the time of the collision.

It's not yet clear who's at fault.
