16-Year-Old Walks Into Hospital After Being Shot In Chest
BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A 16-year-old who walked into R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the chest early Tuesday morning remains in critical but stable condition, authorities said.
Police believe the teen was shot near the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Laurens Street. Officers responding to a report of gunfire at the intersection about 1:30 a.m. could not find a crime scene or a victim.
The intersection is just blocks away from the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, where three people were arrested for disorderly conduct Monday night after clashing with police, some of whom were wrapped in riot gear, during a vigil for slain rapper Lor Scoota.
