BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police are searching for two persons of interest in the shooting of a 19-year-old Laurel man Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say officers responded to the Knights Inn at 3380 Laurel Fort Meade Road around 3 p.m.

They say the young man had been shot in the upper body, and was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma where he's listed in critical condition.

Witnesses say they saw two black males approach the victim and, after a brief conversation, one of them pulled out a gun and shot him.

Investigators believe these two men were captured on video surveillance at a McDonald's just prior to the shooting.

The Anne Arundel County Police are urging anyone with information to come forward by calling Homicide Detective Carbonaro at 410-222-4731. If people with information wish to remain anonymous they can also contact the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line 410-222-4700 or Metro Crime Stoppers.
