Suspect Sought in Prince George's County Triple Murder

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Prince George's County Police are looking for a suspect caught on camera fleeing the scene of a triple homicide in Forestville Friday night.

About 9:35 p.m., officers were called to a home in the 3100 block of Orleans Avenue. Inside they found five people shot, three of them fatally, according to police. The other two remain hospitalized with critical injuries.

Investigators believe the suspect, who was captured in surveillance video running from the scene while carrying what appears to be a handgun, acted alone. They do not believe the shooting was random, but have yet to determine a motive.

On Monday, police released images of the suspect. One photo is a still from surveillance video, which shows him hurrying across a street, tucking something into his waistband and then hopping a fence.  Another photo shows him at a convenience store on Marlboro Pike about a half hour before the shooting was reported.

Killed in the shooting were Carlina Renee Gray, 50, of Forestville; Jan Marie Parks, 55, of Landover; and Allen Rowlett, 60, of Forestville. Those who survived have not been identified.

There's a reward of up to $25,000 for tips leading to an arrest and indictment. Anyone with information is asked to call homicide detectives at 301-772-4925. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call 1-866-411-TIPS.
