Neglected Horse Found With 3-Foot Hooves Now Able To Run, Jump

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- In August, the Days End Farm Horse Rescue in Woodbine aided in the rescue of horses that were suffering from extreme emaciation, dental neglect and hoof neglect after being locked in a stall at a Washington County farm for at least 10 years.

One of them had to be euthanized because her legs were so badly damaged from the neglect.

Experts were unsure at that time if one of the surviving horses, and 18-year-old stallion named Quest, would ever be able to walk without pain.

In the video below, posted to the Days End Facebook page Friday, Quest can be seen running and even jumping.

The farm says it took months of rehab and treatment for him to get to that point.
