Police: Prescription Pills Taken in Annapolis CVS Robbery

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Prescription pills were the prize sought in the robbery of an Annapolis pharmacy early Tuesday morning, according to police.

Someone called 911 after the suspects, whose faces were obscured by a hooded sweatshirt and a jacket, went into the CVS located in the 2600 block of Riva Road about 2 a.m.

The suspects implied they had a gun and then leapt over the counter to plunder prescription medications, the pharmacist told investigators.

Afterward, they left the store and were last seen heading east on Truman Parkway.

Both suspects are described as 6-foot, 190 pounds and in their mid 20's. One was wearing a dark jacket.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP. You can remain anonymous and you could receive a reward.
