BALTIMORE (WJZ) – The Orioles are going all out for the All-Star third baseman’s 24th birthday.
The #MannyMagic surprise birthday party video for Manny Machado is making its way around the internet.
On Tuesday night in Los Angeles, on the eve of his 24th birthday, Manny Machado slugged his 19th home run of the season. Machado has hit 11 home runs as a shortstop and eight as a third baseman this year. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, he is the first Orioles player to homer at least eight times from those two positions in a season since Cal Ripken, Jr. hit 20 home runs as a shortstop and eight as a third baseman in 1982, when he won the Rookie of the Year Award.
Don’t forget, all fans that attend the game this Saturday, July 9, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards will receive a Manny Machado Garden Gnome.
